Launch YC: Vibe Code Go – Code from your phone

"Vibe Code Go is a mobile app for software engineers."

tl;dr: Vibe Code Go is a mobile app that lets software engineers vibe code on the go.

Founded by Chris Nolet

He was a Staff SWE at Apple. Before that, he had a developer tools company. He is also low-key obsessed with vibe coding.

You can order a hamburger from your phone. You can do your banking from your phone. But we could never code from our phones, because coding requires context, and there was never enough screen space. Now, with the advent of agentic coding, it’s time to challenge that assumption.

You don’t need a big screen to vibe code. If you think about it, you probably spend the majority of your time in Cursor or Cline chatting with an agent in the sidebar. What if you take that chat bar and squeeze it into an iPhone app? That’s Vibe Code Go.

This app has changed the way he works. Instead of working at his desk, He has been able to sit by the pool and dictate features to Vibe Code Go. The app supports multiple chat threads and interruptions, so you really can share your ideas freely. You get a push notification when it’s done.

It feels a lot like messaging with a friend. It’s designed to be conversational.

It’s running Claude Code on your Mac under the hood, and the changes go straight to your hard drive.

Chris is excited to share this launch with the community and to incorporate everyone’s feedback to make this an indispensable engineering companion. Thank you for your early support and encouragement.

You can download the iOS and macOS companion app here: https://vibecodego.com. Claude Code is required.
