Who The Founders Are

Caitlin led data infrastructure at a materials science startup for 4 years, building from the ground up. Connor previously worked on database products at Google. The Labric team combines deep technical chops with a first-hand understanding of lab chaos.

Labric makes data and AI infrastructure for scientific research labs. They unite hundreds of scattered data sources, especially lab instruments, into one central nervous system for the lab.

The Problem

Despite pushing the boundaries of chemistry, biology, and materials science, many of the world’s top research labs still run on outdated tools. Lab instruments dump data into Excel spreadsheets. Scientists email these files to themselves. In some cases, labs shell out for clunky custom databases built by consultants that are rarely maintained, and never integrated with modern analysis tools.
