Glass is a medical knowledge management platform, similar to "Notion for doctors." The platform is designed to cater to the way clinicians capture, organize, store, and retrieve their medical knowledge.
Founders
Dereck Paul, MD held the position of a resident physician in internal medicine at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Harvard Medical School, as well as being a medical student at the UCSF School of Medicine.
Graham Ramsey interned at Watsi (YC W13) and designed and built the EHR at the telemedicine company PlushCare. He was an early product team member at Modern Fertility (YC S17) until its acquisition by Ro in 2021.

Glass is a platform for managing medical information, akin to "Notion for doctors." It is specifically designed to accommodate clinicians in their tasks of capturing, sorting, keeping, and retrieving medical information.
The Glass team recognized the difficulties that physicians were facing in managing the large and diverse array of complex clinical information from various sources. They themselves also encountered this problem in the clinical setting. They observed that their colleagues in the medical field often had a disorganized collection of journal articles, tweets, clinical images, and lecture slides on their phones and email accounts. These crucial digital assets were not easily accessible, making it challenging for them to provide optimal care to patients.
Glass has developed features that are specific to medicine, including:
- Schemas, Scripts, and Cases: store content in special page templates tailored to common medical knowledge constructs.
- Pearls: capture snippets of clinical knowledge encountered during patient care and later organize them in your notebook.
- Linking and Visualizations: easily backlink pages and later view their relationships with medicine-specific visualizations.
- Community Library: view and save pages published by others in the Glass Health Community.
- Glass AI (coming soon): draft differential diagnoses and clinical plans using generative AI.
- Team Collaboration (coming soon): track key information about patients in a HIPAA-compliant team collaboration environment.
These features help clinicians consolidate all the medical knowledge assets they come across throughout their careers in one location. This allows them to achieve clinical proficiency more quickly and utilize their expanding "digital external brains" to provide superior patient care.
