BabylonAI recently launched on Y Combinator’s “Launch YC”.

Launch YC: Babylog: A lightweight open-source logging library for computer vision

BabylonAI empowers machine learning teams to quickly start logging prediction data from production environments.

Babylog, is their new open-source logging library for ML and computer vision teams.

The company is founded by Rangel Milushev & Ahmad Roumie. A team of engineers from Harvard and ETH Zurich, they have extensive experience in building computer vision systems for the autonomous retail space.

HOW IT WORKS

With Babylog, they aim to empower engineers to easily log raw image and prediction data from edge devices to the cloud (or on-prem servers).

It's important to be aware of what your models are running on, real-world. Establishing that infrastructure can consume valuable time and financial resources. A standard for logging your data is needed to accurately gauge the performance of your models.

Babylog (bah-bee-log) provides a standard where all device, model, and prediction information are unified.
